It brings to mind winter nights under a starry sky, and its wooden wick crackles softly like a fire in the hearth.

Juniper berry, cardamom and spruce bark on top; clove, Ceylon cinnamon and Virginia cedarwood at the heart; sandalwood, amber resin and vanilla bean at the base. This prevents tunnelling.

Care: trim the wick to about 6 mm (1/4 in.) before each use; a wick that is too long can cause a high flame or black smoke. Stop using the candle when about 1 cm of wax remains at the bottom of the jar. Once the candle is finished, wash the jar in warm soapy water to give it a second life as a pencil holder or small vase.

Origin: hand-poured in Montréal.

Precautions: never leave a burning candle unattended or burn it for more than 4 hours at a time.
