A floral, fruity candle with notes of bird of paradise, pink lychee, tiger lily and sandalwood. Hawaiian hibiscus, mimosa, teak and musk round out this tropical escape of a scent, for every season.
Late Afternoons hand-pours it in small batches in Montréal, with virgin coconut soy wax and a wooden wick that crackles as it burns.
Format: 3 oz (10 to 15 hours of burn time) or 5 oz (30 to 35 hours of burn time).
Materials: virgin coconut soy wax (vegan, gluten-free), FSC-certified wooden wick, essential oils of lemon, orange, lime, geranium, tagetes, citronella, cedar leaf, cubeb, gurjun balsam and cognac, rose and mimosa absolutes.
How to use: the first time, let the wax melt all the way to the edges of the container to prevent tunnelling. After that, burn the candle for 2 to 3 hours at a time.
Care: before each use, trim the wick to 3 to 5 mm (1/8 to 3/16 in.); the burnt part of the wooden wick can be removed with a wick trimmer, a tissue or your fingers. Keep the wick centred and the wax free of debris. Stop using the candle when about 6 mm (1/4 in.) of wax remains.
Origin: hand-poured in Montréal.
Precautions: never leave a burning candle unattended or lit for more than 4 hours at a time. Place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts and out of reach of children and pets.
