A candle like a cozy afternoon sipping steaming tea while reading a good book. Italian bergamot, citrus zest and fresh lemon peel on top; French lavender absolute, black tea infusion and delicate floral petals at the heart; Bourbon vanilla, white musk and Virginia cedarwood at the base.
Baltic Club hand-pours it in Montréal with vegan soy wax and rates its scent strength as subtle (2 out of 5).
Format: 8 oz jar, about 50 hours of burn time.
Materials: 100% natural vegan soy wax (phthalate-free and paraffin-free), lead-free and zinc-free cotton wick, glass jar.
How to use: the first time, let the candle burn until the wax has melted across the whole surface, about 2 hours. This prevents tunnelling.
Care: trim the wick to about 6 mm (1/4 in.) before each use; a wick that is too long can cause a high flame or black smoke. Stop using the candle when about 1 cm of wax remains at the bottom of the jar. Once the candle is finished, wash the jar in warm soapy water to give it a second life as a pencil holder or small vase.
Origin: hand-poured in Montréal.
Precautions: never leave a burning candle unattended or burn it for more than 4 hours at a time. Place it on a flat, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, flammable objects, children and pets.
