Wick Dipper
A metal wick dipper that does three things: puts out the flame without smoke, re-centres the wick and removes burnt bits of wick floating in the wax. Used after each burn, it helps the candle burn more cleanly and evenly, and last longer.
Coton Corail, which hand-pours refillable candles in Montréal, offers it for the care of its candles. It suits all types of candles, including those with a wooden wick.
Materials: black metal, resistant to heat and wear; ergonomic grip.
How to use: after each use, touch the flame with the hook until it goes out. While the wax is still warm, gently re-centre the wick, then remove any burnt bits of wick floating in the wax.
Care: easy to clean after each use.
