A boreal spice blend, sweet and salty, inspired by the shores of the St. Lawrence. Rose petals and hibiscus flowers meet larch needles, which bring to mind morning in the Laurentian forest, for a note that is both floral and woody.

Inspired by Abenaki culture, this blend is part of the Collection des 11 Nations from Épices du Guerrier, a Quebec company rooted in the First Nations. Its label presents it as a blend for wild turkey.

Format: 60 g resealable pouch.

Ingredients: golden brown sugar, sea salt, pure maple sugar, pink peppercorn, hibiscus flowers, rose petals, larch needles.

Allergens: contains pink peppercorn. The ingredients do not contain gluten, but may have been processed in a plant that handles foods that may contain it.

Serving suggestion: sprinkle it on turkey, wild turkey, chicken, duck, trout or tilapia, as a marinade or as a finishing touch. It can also replace barbecue chicken spice.

Storage: keep it in an airtight container, away from moisture and light.

Origin: blend by Épices du Guerrier, a Quebec company from the Capitale-Nationale region.
