The Signé Local Difference
We've explored Quebec to unite the finest local flavors in one box. It's more than a gift: it's a journey, perfectly curated for you.
Adjustable wall mount for bicycles
The bike no longer sleeps in the hallway: it rests on two wooden arms, at eye level, and the room gets its floor back.
Rabot D. Bois is the workshop and boutique that cabinetmaker Mathieu Jean took over in 2017, carrying on from L'Atelier du vieux rabot. A gold medallist in cabinetmaking at the Olympiades québécoises de la formation professionnelle et technique in 2014, he works in small runs, combining traditional cabinetmaking with laser cutting and engraving.
The anodized aluminum rail lets you adjust the rack to every type of bike: mountain, road, gravel, fat bike or city bike. The top shelf can hold a helmet. The rack is available with or without personalization: a laser engraving on the right arm, of up to 50 characters (name, quote, logo or dedication).
Dimensions: 17.5 in (44.5 cm) deep, 15 7/8 in (40 cm) wide and 12.5 in (31.8 cm) high; shelf of 10 in by 10 in (25.4 cm by 25.4 cm). It holds up to 60 lb.
Materials: base in solid Quebec maple, arms and shelf in FSC-certified yellow birch plywood, anodized aluminum rail. The wood is sanded, then finished by hand with a natural furniture oil, with no petroleum derivatives, for a soft touch that will not scratch your bike.
How to use: mount the rack on a solid wall stud; avoid drywall anchors.
Origin: handmade in Sainte-Luce, in Bas-Saint-Laurent.
