A maple sugar chocolate bar, in dark or milk chocolate. The chocolate melts first, then the maple comes through, clean and lightly caramelized.
Chocolaterie du Vieux-Beloeil is an artisan chocolate maker founded in April 1995 and run by Jean-François Fraser. The shop is at 960 rue Laurier in Beloeil, and the chocolate is made in a workshop on rue Louis-Marchand.
Format: 100 g bar, available in dark chocolate no. 25 (64% cocoa) or milk chocolate no. 26 (41% cocoa).
Ingredients, dark chocolate no. 25: cocoa mass, sugar, cocoa butter, maple sugar, emulsifier: sunflower lecithin, natural vanilla flavours.
Ingredients, milk chocolate no. 26: sugar, cocoa butter, cocoa mass, milk powder, maple sugar, emulsifier: sunflower lecithin, natural vanilla flavours.
Allergens: milk version: contains milk and barley (gluten). Both versions may contain milk, tree nuts and soy.
Storage: in a cool, dry place, away from heat and light.
Origin: made in Beloeil, in Montérégie.
