Thérèse - Sterling silver hoop earrings with removable charm
A small teardrop charm with a hammered texture hangs from an ear hoop. Because the charm is removable, you can wear these earrings with it or wear the hoops on their own: a simple, delicate two-in-one piece.
They pay tribute to Thérèse Casgrain, who campaigned from the 1920s to the 1940s for women's right to vote in Quebec and for their legal and social equality. With the Marie-Joséphine and Idola models, they form the trio of the Inspirante collection devoted to the women who fought for Quebec women's right to vote. Every piece in this collection is named after a woman who had a positive influence on the world.
Lidia designs and makes each piece by hand in her Montréal studio. For every piece sold from the Inspirante collection, she donates $5 to La Relance Jeunes et Familles, an organization in Montréal's Centre-Sud neighbourhood that works to reduce social inequalities and supports academic perseverance.
Dimensions: small hoop 15 mm x 1.8 mm x 15 mm or large hoop 20 mm x 1.8 mm x 20 mm; charm 25 mm x 9 mm x 2 mm.
Materials: sterling silver or sterling silver plated with 14-karat yellow gold (1 micron).
Origin: handmade in Montréal by Lidia.
