Calanques Candle | Rosemary + Sea Salt
A candle that brings to mind salty air over sun-warmed cliffs: rosemary and lemon on top, conifer and basil at the heart, sea salt and lavender at the base. This fresh, herbaceous and mineral scent contains essential oils of California lemon and Vietnamese basil.
Coton Corail hand-pours it in Montréal, with a wooden wick that crackles softly. The ceramic jar is yours to keep: once the candle is finished, it takes a Calanques refill, sold separately. It works well during the day, to bring a feeling of the outdoors inside.
Format: 200 g (7 oz) candle in a white, black or sand ceramic jar; about 45 to 50 hours of burn time.
Materials: 100% plant-based wax (natural coconut wax according to the maker's website, soy wax according to the lid label; check the label of the product you receive), wooden wick, handmade refillable ceramic jar.
How to use: once the candle is finished, clean the jar and insert a Calanques refill, sold separately, to enjoy the same scent without buying a new container.
Care: keep the wooden wick at the right length for a clean, smoke-free flame. After each use, while the wax is still warm, re-centre the wick and remove any burnt bits of wick floating in the wax.
