Lodge is a cool evening in a cabin: the scent of fir trees, a hint of lemon that freshens the air and the warmth of a crackling fire. The fragrance blends cypress, lemon, evergreen, cedar, fir, amber and moss, with balsam fir essential oil.
Late Afternoons hand-pours it in Montréal, using virgin coconut and soy wax and an FSC-certified wooden wick.
Format: 3 oz, in a metal tin (10 to 15 hours of burn time), or 5 oz, in a glass jar (30 to 35 hours).
Materials: virgin coconut and soy wax, handmade FSC-certified wooden wick.
How to use: the first time, let the candle burn until the entire wax surface has melted, to prevent tunnelling. After that, burn it for 2 to 3 hours at a time.
Care: trim the wick to 3 to 5 mm (1/8 to 3/16 in.) before each use. Keep the wick centred and the wax free of debris. Stop using the candle when about 6 mm (1/4 in.) of wax remains.
Origin: hand-poured in Montréal.
Precautions: never leave a burning candle unattended or lit for more than 4 hours at a time. Place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, and keep it out of reach of children and pets.
