A warm candle that heralds the first cold days. Top notes of green cardamom pods, Chinese cinnamon bark and clove bud; heart notes of star jasmine, dried tobacco leaf and white musk; base notes of Madagascar vanilla bean, cedarwood bark and tonka bean.
You'd think you were at the cottage, surrounded by cedar floors, cozy blankets and fallen leaves. Baltic Club hand-pours it in Montréal with vegan soy wax and rates its scent intensity as subtle (2 out of 5), suited to smaller rooms such as a bedroom, reading nook or home office.
Format: 8 oz jar, about 50 hours of burn time.
Materials: 100% natural, vegan soy wax (phthalate-free and paraffin-free), lead-free cotton wick, amber glass jar with gold lid.
How to use: the first time, let the candle burn until the wax melts across the entire surface, about 2 hours. This prevents tunnelling.
Care: trim the wick to about 6 mm (1/4 in.) before each use. Stop using the candle when about 1 cm of wax remains at the bottom of the jar. Once the candle is finished, wash the jar in warm soapy water to give it a second life as a pencil holder, planter or storage jar.
Origin: hand-poured in Montréal.
Precautions: never leave a burning candle unattended and do not burn it for more than 4 hours at a time. Place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts and flammable objects, and keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
