Palmarosa essential oil has a fresh, floral scent. Well known for its deodorizing properties, it is a key ingredient in natural deodorants.
It is also appreciated in care for acne-prone and oily skin, in repairing skincare and on tired legs. Les Mauvaises Herbes, a Montréal company, offers it in an amber glass bottle; the oil comes from India.
Format: 15 ml amber glass bottle.
Ingredients: pure palmarosa essential oil (Cymbopogon martinii var. motia), from the leaf. Main components: geraniol, geranyl acetate. Flash point: 93 °C (200 °F).
How to use: diffuse it, or add it to skincare and homemade deodorants.
Precautions: for external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Avoid during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and in children under 3. Some sources also advise against internal use in cases of hormone-dependent cancer. For safe use suited to your health, consult an aromatherapist.
