A blend of herbs to steep in a warm plant-based drink or milk, to end the day gently. Lavender and holy basil give it comforting floral notes; the blue pea powder, packed separately, turns it blue.

The Montréal company Les Mauvaises Herbes makes it by hand with natural, organic ingredients. The blend is vegan and comes in compostable packaging.

Format: 28 g pouch, about 18 servings.

Ingredients: lavender (Lavandula angustifolia), holy basil (Ocimum tenuiflorum/Ocimum sanctum var. krishna), blue pea powder (Clitoria ternatea). The look of the blend may vary from one harvest to the next, for the same weight.

Serving suggestion: pour 1 cup (250 ml) of hot plant-based drink or milk over 2 tsp of the herb blend and let steep for 5 to 10 minutes. Strain, add 1/4 tsp of blue pea powder (in the small clear bag inside the pouch), stir and sweeten to taste.

Storage: in an airtight container, away from moisture.

Origin: handmade in Montréal.

Precautions: suitable for children aged 6 and over. As a precaution, avoid holy basil during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Holy basil may interact with anticoagulants, antiplatelet drugs, antidiabetic drugs and barbiturates. For medicinal use, consult an accredited therapeutic herbalist.
