Montréal Refill | Gin + Spruce
The refill for the Montréal candle: a block of scented wax with its wooden wick, to slip into the Coton Corail refillable jar you already own. Same scent as the candle: pine, cedar and citrus zest on top, gin, patchouli, sandalwood and geranium at the heart, tonka bean and amber myrrh at the base.
A fresh, woody and sophisticated fragrance that brings to mind the crisp air of an urban evening, between forest and city. It gives a room character in the evening, summer or winter. Coton Corail hand-pours its refills in Montréal; you keep the jar and replace only the wax.
Format: 200 g (7 oz) refill, in two versions: for a Jesmonite jar or for a ceramic jar.
Materials: natural coconut wax and wooden wick; fragrance with essential oils of Florida orange, California lemon, Virginia cedar, patchouli, cypress and Indian peppermint.
How to use: once your candle is finished, clean the jar, then insert the refill. Choose the version that matches your jar: Jesmonite or ceramic.
Care: keep the wooden wick at the right length for a clean, smoke-free flame. After each use, while the wax is still warm, re-centre the wick and remove any burnt bits of wick floating in the wax.
Origin: hand-poured in Montréal.
