A protein mix for a green smoothie with tropical notes of pineapple and passion fruit, in the morning or the afternoon. No blender needed: just add liquid.
Seta Organic, based in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts in the Laurentians (Laurentides), makes it in its own facilities in Quebec with real fruit and vegetables, pea and pumpkin seed protein and green superfoods. Each 32 g serving provides 14 g of plant protein and 6 g of fibre, along with 10 vitamins and minerals. It is vegan, stevia-free and non-GMO.
Format: 160 g pouch, or 5 to 10 servings.
Ingredients: protein blend (Canadian yellow pea protein, organic pumpkin seed protein), fibre blend (organic psyllium husk, organic acacia, organic agave inulin), organic dates, pineapple, green superfoods blend (organic wheatgrass, spinach, kale, organic spirulina), passion fruit, organic natural flavours. Another list published by the maker mentions chickpea protein and organic lime, but no psyllium or flavours. Contents may vary by batch; refer to the label on the product you receive.
Allergens: contains wheatgrass.
Serving suggestion: without a blender, pour 1 cup (250 ml) of your favourite plant-based milk into a Mason jar, add 4 tbsp of the mix and mix vigorously until smooth. With a blender, make your smoothie as usual and add 4 tbsp of the mix. You can also add it to your favourite recipes.
Storage: in an airtight container, in a cool, dry place, away from light.
Origin: made in Seta Organic's facilities in Quebec; the company is based in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, in the Laurentians.
