Three open jars in the middle of the table, a brunch that lingers: dip, compare, and go again with cheese instead of pastries. The selection of three honeys changes with the seasons, and the box comes with a pairing card matching the honeys with artisanal Quebec cheeses.
Miel Liaison is Valérie, a beekeeper and epicure whose mission is to showcase Quebec's floral heritage. Her honeys come from her own hives and from independent Quebec beekeepers who work without chemical repellents or antibiotic treatments. They are not pasteurized or processed, and only lightly filtered: each jar keeps the taste of its bloom.
Format: 3 jars of 65 g.
Ingredients: unpasteurized honey.
Serving suggestion: drizzle honey over cheese, coat it or dip it in the honey. The sweetness of the honey balances the natural tang and saltiness of the cheese. Also serve with bread, pastries and fresh fruit.
Storage: at room temperature, away from light, ideally between 19 and 25 °C so the honey stays liquid. If it crystallizes, this is natural and reversible.
Origin: company based in the Eastern Townships (Estrie); honeys from its own hives and from independent Quebec beekeepers.
