Three 125 ml cheese jams gathered in a cardboard tube: strawberry and Chinese five spice, peppered black berries, and pear, eau-de-vie and thyme flower. Each jar carries its own pairing suggestions, so you can build a board without second-guessing. Give it as a hostess gift or keep it for your own cheese board.
They go well with fresh goat cheese, creamy brie or Migneron. Simon Turcotte confiturier, based in Sainte-Marcelline-de-Kildare, in Lanaudière, cooks them by hand in small batches, with Quebec strawberries and Flemish Beauty pears and wild blueberries from Lac-Saint-Jean. According to the maker, these jams are vegan and preservative-free.
