Young white spruce tips, picked in spring, packed by hand and preserved in a light brine. Tender and tangy, they have a fresh, resinous taste of the boreal forest.
Gourmet Sauvage processes them using artisanal methods in the Laurentians, in Mont-Blanc, from responsible foraging. They are vegan, gluten-free and non-GMO.
Format: 190 ml glass jar.
Ingredients: spruce tips, water, sea salt, citric acid.
Serving suggestion: serve them as an appetizer with hors d'oeuvres, on a cheese and charcuterie board, or with fish, meat and salads. They also liven up a tartare, fish en papillote, homemade mayonnaise, a yogurt dip or a cocktail such as a martini or a Caesar.
Storage: refrigerate after opening.
Origin: processed using artisanal methods in Mont-Blanc, in the Laurentians.
