Nine products to tour Quebec in a single box: maple syrup, caramel, honey, seasoned salt, shortbread, a chocolate treat, northern herbal tea, sparkling blackcurrant water and camelina oil. A taste of Quebec from breakfast to happy hour.

Signé Local brings together nine of its members in this box, from the Côte-Nord to Montérégie, by way of Québec City, Île d'Orléans and the Eastern Townships. Every product is made in Quebec.

What's inside: nine products. Some flavours vary by batch; refer to the label on the product you receive.

Format: in the classic edition, the products come in the gift box shown in the first photo. The deluxe edition holds the same products in a black box with a message printed inside the lid.

Allergens: the shortbread contains wheat, milk and eggs, and may contain tree nuts, peanuts, sulphites, soy and mustard. The caramel contains milk. Sel Montréal contains sesame. Cerise royale and Bleuet royal contain hazelnuts, and the milk chocolate Cerise royale also contains milk; these treats may contain milk, tree nuts and soy. The camelina oil may contain traces of mustard. Check each product's label for the full list.

Serving suggestion: one idea per product.

  • Add a touch of maple to your crêpes, yogurt or hot drinks.
  • Enjoy the caramel by the spoonful or on a dessert, and the shortbread with a coffee.
  • Lift your dishes with a pinch of Sel Montréal or a few drops of camelina oil.
  • Enjoy the honey with cheese or straight from the spoon.
  • Save the chocolate treat for a sweet break.
  • Steep the herbal tea for a relaxing moment with northern plants.
  • Serve the blackcurrant water well chilled, as an alcohol-free aperitif.

Origin: box put together by Signé Local with products from TRACE (Saint-François-de-la-Rivière-du-Sud, Chaudière-Appalaches), CARAMELS F.A.A. and Les Sablés de l'Osti d'Français (Québec City), Cassis Monna & Filles (Île d'Orléans), Miel Liaison (Eastern Townships), Sel Saint-Laurent (Haute-Côte-Nord), Chocolaterie du Vieux-Beloeil (Beloeil) and Signé Caméline (Saint-Édouard-de-Napierville), in Montérégie.
