A jam made from wild blueberries picked in the forests of the Saguenay region. The berries are slow-cooked to keep them whole, in a jam that is only lightly sweetened.
Gourmet Sauvage, a company based in Mont-Blanc in the Laurentians, makes it with just four ingredients. It is vegan, gluten-free and non-GMO, and its blueberries come from responsible harvesting.
Format: 190 ml.
Ingredients: wild blueberries, organic sugar, fruit pectin, citric acid.
Serving suggestion: spread it on toast or pastries in the morning. It also goes with ice cream and sponge cake, mixes into yogurt, plain or as frozen yogurt, turns into a sauce for meat and gives your muffins a soft centre.
Storage: refrigerate after opening.
Origin: blueberries picked in the Saguenay region; company based in Mont-Blanc, in the Laurentians.
