A barbecue spice blend built on subtly smoked pepper and freshly ground 94 Celcius coffee. The roasted notes of the coffee blend with smoked paprika, cumin and coriander to coat meat, fish and grilled vegetables.
La Pincée, based in La Prairie, in the Montérégie region, created it in collaboration with the Quebec coffee roaster 94 Celcius. The blend contains no preservatives, no garlic and no onion or dehydrated vegetables.
Format: 200 g jar.
Ingredients: Portuguese sea salt, coarse cane sugar, black pepper, finely ground 94 Celcius coffee, crushed coriander seeds, ground cumin, smoked paprika, celery seeds, herbs and spices.
Serving suggestion: rub generously on meat before cooking or sprinkle at the end of cooking. It goes well with ribs, salmon, beef, lamb, pork, chicken, turkey, shrimp, grilled eggplant and zucchini, or pan-fried tofu. Also add it when cooking vegetables, rice or semolina.
Storage: in an airtight container, away from light and moisture.
