A real wooden log, hollowed out and closed with an engraved wooden lid, holding a 100 g pouch of Mélange Traditionnel (Traditional Blend). Each log looks naturally different and is hand-wrapped by the artisans of Épices du Guerrier, a company from the Capitale-Nationale region.
Made with maple sugar, Mélange Traditionnel combines maple, smoke, boreal spices and peppery notes. It is the signature product of Épices du Guerrier, the one that made the brand known across Canada. For many Indigenous peoples, the natural layers inside the log represent the number of lives the soul has lived over time.
Format: one 10 cm x 10 cm x 17.7 cm log (350 g) and one 100 g pouch of Mélange Traditionnel.
Ingredients: maple sugar, salt, smoked paprika, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, yeast extract, dextrose, dune pepper (Alnus crispa), sweet gale, turmeric, paprika, canola oil, smoke flavour, cellulose fibre, cayenne pepper.
Allergens: contains garlic and onion. The ingredients contain no gluten, but they may have been processed in a facility that handles foods that may contain it.
Serving suggestion: sprinkle it on salmon, chicken, pork, potatoes, steak, tofu, grilled vegetables, eggs, bacon, cheese or popcorn, or add it to your marinades and to a Bloody Caesar.
Storage: keep the blend in an airtight container, away from light and moisture.
Origin: log hand-wrapped by Épices du Guerrier, in the Capitale-Nationale region.
Precautions: do not pour the contents of the pouch directly into the log.
